Referral Program Terms
Frazier Mountain Internet ("FMIS") customers can refer friends and neighbors. When someone you refer becomes a customer, they get free installation, and you get a credit on your account. These terms explain who qualifies and when the credit is applied.
Who Can Refer
- You must be an existing FMIS customer, with your account in good standing.
- FMIS employees can't take part as referrers.
Who Can Be Referred
- The person you refer must become a new, paying FMIS customer.
- Their service must be at a different address, and billed to a different person, from yours.
- Moving your own service, or adding a second account for yourself, isn't a referral.
How a Referral Is Recorded
Your referral link is in the Client Zone. A referral only counts if the person you refer signs up through your link, so it's recorded when they request service, before their installation. We can't add a referral by phone, by word of mouth, or after someone has signed up.
What the New Customer Gets
Free installation.
What You Get
A one-time credit on your FMIS account. The amount is set by the current referral promotion. We apply it once all of these are true:
- the new customer's installation is complete;
- they've paid their first bill; and
- they've stayed an active customer for the qualifying period: 90 days, unless the current promotion says otherwise.
About Credits
- Credits apply to your FMIS bill. They aren't cash and can't be exchanged for cash.
- A credit is applied in full once the referral qualifies. There are no partial or early credits.
- Once applied, a credit isn't taken back later.
No Limit
There's no limit on how many people you can refer. Each one who qualifies earns its own credit.
