One of the best kept secrets in Southern California real estate is the beautiful Frazier Mountain area. These small town communities, where everyone waves, are near enough for commuting but far enough away from the rat race. Less than an hour from Los Angeles or Bakersfield and just off Interstate 5, this peaceful, scenic community lies at approximate altitude of 5,000 feet, surrounded by the majestic Los Padres National Forest.

Enjoy the country friendliness and small town atmosphere, clean air and lack of congestion. Mountain trails abound for hiking, horseback riding and picnicing. Our four seasons weather provides beautiful fall colors before the winter & spring snow which is great for tobogganing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and making snowmen. Nearby Pyramid Lake offers boating, swimming, water-skiing, and fishing for summer fun. Spring attracts visitors for the stunning displays of California wildflowers. Local activities included the annual Lilac Festival, Fiesta Days, Holiday Faire, check out the Frazier Mtn. High School sporting and drama schedule, plus events at the Fort Tejon State Historic Park.

Even with all the unique features of the area you can find affordable vacation or full time homes. Once mainly a vacation-recreational area, in recent years it has attracted more permanent residents. You have a choice of scenery and topography from grassy rolling, oak-covered hills of Lebec, quaint communities of Frazier Park and Lake of the Woods, privacy and seclusion offered in tree covered Pinon Pines development, panoramic vistas of Lockwood Valley, tall trees or room for horses in Cuddy Valley, to the pine covered peaks of Pine Mountain Club. Local activities include: Scouting, AARP, AYSO, Frazier Mtn. Little League, Adult Softball league, karate, assorted dance classes, yoga, quilt guild, garden club and more.
